A legend of the last

218 Estimate / Estimation: €250.000 – €300.000

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a real modern classic like the Land Rover Defender, which was completed a few years ago. Since its foundation, Land Rover (1948) has been producing Defender model, and sold almost unchanged until production was completed, and it has been modified in detail over time, as a more modern engines, and and increased equipment, but but today is one of the best off-road vehicles on the market, whose great rival is the G-Class, which is a luxury model. The G-Class despite being a luxury model, but still an excellent off-road vehicle, which have made more interesting versions in recent years than G500 4x42, or the G63 AMG 6x6 pickup, and, most recently, a very rare version of it was named Mercedes-Maybach G650 Landaulet (highest luxury at Mercedes, and just 99 unit), from which all 99 unit were sold before it was released.

The G-Class has been manufactured in 1979 in Graz, Austria (Magna-Steyr plant), and the new model generation is also produced here. The first model generation is made of 3-door, 5-door, the first model generation is made in 3-door, 5-door, 5-door long wheelbase, Cabriolet, Pickup, Van model versions, as well as unique, limited and high performance AMG (63 & 65 AMG, V8 & V12 petrol engines, that are fast than sports cars) versions. This year's Paris RM Sotheby’s auction is one of the last pieces is sold, on the auction starting tomorrow. The model offered for sale is a G65 AMG Final Edition, which is one of the last 65 Final Edition models, and this model for sale is the first G65 AMG Final Edition model, that was delivered to the customer. Top-class luxury in the interior, great change since the very first G-Class

If a 5.5-litre, V-8 engined G63 AMG with 563 bhp on tap is not quite enough, Mercedes-Benz and AMG offer something with a little extra punch to satisfy those looking for something even faster: enter the G65 AMG. The G65 AMG is a real specialty on the market with the heart of a twin-turbocharged 6.0-litre V-12 petrol engine with 621 bhp. These V12-powered cars, with today's 3-cylinder engine „downsizing”, are really rare. Capable of hauling five adults on and off road in supreme comfort, it has a towing capacity of 3,175 kilos and what is perhaps most impressive is its 0–100 km/h (0-62 mph) time of 5.3 seconds. Not bad for a vehicle that tips the scales at 2,581 kilos. Only 65 were built to commemorate the end of production of the first-generation, W463 G-Wagen.

2018 Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG 'Final Edition' interior details, and the powerful 6.0 V12 Bi-Turbo engine

Each car is finished in black with matte bronze 21-in. wheels and exterior trim details. Inside, black Nappa leather is contrasted with brown stitching and carbon-fibre trim. This example was delivered to its first owner in Kuwait and remains in his collection today in virtually as-new condition, having only accumulated delivery mileage since new. For decades, the G-Wagen has been considered the very best luxury off-road vehicle. As such, a G65 AMG Final Edition is surely the best of the best. Even in the Youngtimer collection, models like the 1969 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6.3 Saloon (there is a 6.3 liter engine under the hood, which is 0–100 km/h time of 6.6 seconds), and the Mercedes-Benz E500 Limited (The final-year model of the Porsche designed high-performance W124, which is just 24,572 km on the odometer.) are auctioned.
