Sporty exterior with modern hybrid drive

Lexus uses from the Toyota well-known hybrid technology, which was developed in the Toyota Prius and has since refined the hybrid system. In the Lexus NX’s drive, however, the electric drive combines with a 2.5 liter engine, 4-cylinder petrol engine, which produces 155 hp on the 5 700 rpm, and 210 Nm peak torque between 4 200 – 4 400 rpm give it on the wheels. The petrol engine next to the electric engine produces 143 hp and 270 Nm torque, which is also pure electric drive enough to move the NX300h, but overall performance of the system 194 hp (US), which can provide you with good driving performance. The basic versions of the NX also get the driving mode selector, which is further enhanced by the F-Sport versions another modes.

The hybrid model in the Sport mode enhance your driving experience, with the faster accelerator pedal response. The Lexus NX available with Sport, ECO and Normal modes, which the more accustomed hybrid experience brings quieter and with smooth start. Driving Lexus NX300h leadership is also calm and comfortable, and the system is easy to move the Crossover, despite the fact that the batteries are also plagued by the car's own mass, compared to gasoline versions. For Toyota HSD models ordinary high RPM noise, which is not for Lexus hybrid models, which is due to better soundproofing. In the Eco and Normal mode for acceleration the good insulation of the car significantly reduces the infiltrating noise, so travel is much more enjoyable.

Driving in town is easy, and no disadvantage of the highway, where it is also beautiful quietly and always has the strength to overtaking, as well as motorway is also home to the NX, where most of these luxury crossovers are used. The chassis also absorbs the roadblocks (for example potholes) nicely, which is in sport mode will be harder and stiffer. The available modes affect the driving dynamics and the hybrid measuring clock changes tachometer, which is good design and available with paddle shift behind the steering wheel. The 197 hp hybrid power and peak torque enough for quick start, and for overtaking, and you can even use it sparingly.

The NX300h hybrid system promises 5.2-5.3 liters (31 MPG) of consumption (factory value), which is expected to increase depending on the driving style, and only 180 km/h (112 MPH) top speed, as well as acceleration zero to 100 km / h (0-62 mph) in 9.2 seconds, but with the 300h and even can be use purely electrically, which is very useful in cities. The disadvantage of electronic use, that as soon as the batteries are exhausted, the gasoline engine is switched on automatically and then begins to replenish the spent energy, but with braking and special engine braking, you can recharge the power, so it's a lot more energy in the city like on the highway.

Lexus NX 300h

The car overall is perfect for premium SUVs, which I can only recommend to those who can afford the premium models, and next to luxury, they want a good hybrid model, which goes extremely well. The new Lexus NX300h does not stay down from the BMW, AUDI, MERCEDES, INFINITI and other brands models, with the quality, elaboration, value keeping, as well as reliability, which is among the best.
